Abstract	Biosis Citation Index is a comprehensive reference database of life sciences research. It includes over 23 million bibliographic records dating back to 1926, plus cited references to primary journal literature on biological research, medical research, and discoveries of new organisms. It also covers original research reports and reviews in traditional biological and biomedical areas.Although it is primarly useful for biologists, it contains a lot of meetings and some medical journals. Controlled vocabulary is not suitable for medical searching.
